Ichima is a Japanese restaurant that I would like to come back to again. Whether it is the freshness of the ingredients, the creative combination, or the exquisiteness of the plating, I feel that they are very attentive. What's more rare is that this kind of high-quality Japanese food is still reasonable per capita in a location like Pasadena, which is absolutely the king of cost-effectiveness! If you like to eat sashimi like me or want to try some special and creative Japanese food, I strongly recommend you to give it a try

My to go sushi place. Although the wait was a bit long, once you are seated, the service and food was great. It was our first time there and our usual spot had closed down, so we are happy to find it! You are able to join the waitlist on yelp which is amazing! And the ambiance is great. They all great you as you walk in and if someone has a birthday, they play a special announcement and clap along to the song. I tried the avocado eggroll and Ive been thinking of it since! Good thing they deliver cant wait to go back.

Suddenly remembered that I had seen information about this restaurant before, so I decided to give it a try today. The exterior of the restaurant has a sense of history, while the interior is clean and tidy. The menu offers a wide variety of options. Today, we've ordered a lot , udon, fried noodles, some snacks, and fish. The taste was great, the prices were very reasonable and service was friendly .

One of the best sushi in town! The service there is no much and the sushi is very fresh. Their uni is absolutely amazing they said the ones were sourced from Santa Barbara. Insane prices and loved every piece. They are generous on the prices and shout out to the services!

This little Japanese restaurant tucked away next to Bowlero is really cute and the food was decent. We came here on a Thursday night and it was still pretty busy, Fridays and Saturdays definitely has a wait. It was our first time, and we ordered a lot: the chirashi bowl, California rolls, a few different nigiri, hand rolls, and nabe w/ tempura. The nabe udon (hotpot with chicken) was my favorite dish. The soup was a little sweet, but so comforting for cold nights. We added on the mixed tempura which included a variety of perfectly crispy veggies (worth the upgrade!). The rolls and nigiri were good, and the chirashi was okay (there was waaay too much rice). On our way out, we saw a lot of tables with bento boxes. We'll be back to try the bentos next time.
